This maternity gown is created using Margo Anderson's Elizabethan Comfort pattern. These gowns were what the Elizabethan women wore when they were pregnant or nursing, or just wanted a day off from confining clothing.
This kirtle has a maternity hem and slits in the front to accomodate the nursing mother. Made from Margo Anderson's Elizabethan Comfort pattern, it is designed to be worn underneath the Maternity Overgown. Sleeves are detachable and are fastened on with satin cord or ribbon.
